Tornado Watch in effect across multiple Mid-Michigan counties

LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – A Tornado Watch is in effect for all of Mid-Michigan until 2 a.m. Friday as the area is hit by severe storms.
Highs in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees during the day were replaced in the evening with a line of potentially damaging thunderstorms Thursday evening.
The Tornado Watch is in effect for Ingham, Jackson, Eaton, Clinton, Hillsdale Counties, as well as the surrounding counties of Branch, Barry, Calhoun, Ionia, Shiawassee and Washtenaw.
Tornado Warnings were in effect in parts of Barry, Ionia, Eaton and Clinton Counties earlier in the night, but have since expired.
Severe Thunderstorm Warnings across the area expired at 10:45 p.m.

Consumers Energy prepared for possible outages ahead of severe weather
