ShipwreckWorld,agroupthatworkstolocateshipwrecksaroundtheglobe,announcedthefindlastweek,creditingateamledbyIllinoisshipwreckhunterPaulEhorn.Ehorn,80,sayshisteamdiscoveredthewreckoftheLacLaBelleroughly20milesoffshorebetweenRacineandKenosha,Wisconsin,inOctober2022.
Headdedthattheannouncementwasdelayedbecausehisteamplannedtoreleasethree-dimensionalvideoofthewreckalongwiththeannouncement,butweatherpreventedaccessuntillastsummer.
