Michigan football has an image problem. Sherrone Moore knows one thing that’ll help

LAS VEGAS — Michigan football has an image problem.
Not among its faithful, of course. But among so many others who follow – and love – college football.
Michigan’s coach, Sherrone Moore, could face another suspension – he’ll already miss two games this season (Weeks 3-4 against Central Michigan and Nebraska) on a school-issued ban – as the NCAA deliberates its conclusion of the investigation into the sign-stealing saga. Connor Stalions still makes headlines. And its College Football Playoff title from the 2023 season remains tainted in the eyes of many.
Moore can’t talk about the investigation or whether he thinks he’ll get to coach his team in the other 10 (or 11, 12 ro 13) games this season. He said as much Thursday, July 24, during the Big Ten football media days at Mandalay Bay Resort.
