TheWaynePoliceDepartmentrespondedtoreportsofanactiveshooteratCrossPointeCommunityChurchonSunday,June22,2025,morning. Policesaidwhenofficersgottothechurchtheydeterminedthatasecurityguardforthechurchshotandkilledthesuspect.Theysaidonepersonwasalsoshotintheleg. ThechurchhadjustwrappedupaneventthatwasbeinglivestreamedtoitsYouTubepage.Thevideoshowsthecrowdclapping,somepeoplebegintostand,andthenshoutingcanbeheardoffscreen.
