Rural Michigan town braces for massive music festival with Kid Rock, Nickelback

HASTINGS, MI — An estimated 25,000 people will descend on the small Southwest Michigan town of Hastings (population: 7,513) this weekend for “Rock the Country,” a traveling country music festival.

Kid Rock, Nickelback, Lynyrd Skynyrd and other country music artists are performing at the festival.
