The410-foot-long,72-year-oldvesselisexpectedtodepartLudingtonbetween6and8a.m.April30.Theapproximately12-hourtriptakestheshipfromLudingtontowardWashingtonIslandandthetipoftheDoorPeninsula,thenbacksouththroughthebayofGreenBaytothebayofSturgeonBaytogettoBayShipbuilding,insteadofusingtheSturgeonBayshipcanal.
