Accordingtostatedata,Michigantookincloseto3,500refugeesinfiscalyear2024.
ButonInaugurationDay,oneofPresidentDonaldTrump’sfirstexecutiveorderswasto“RealigntheUnitedStatesRefugeeAdmissionsProgram,”effectivelyfreezingallfederalfundingforagencieswhousethatmoneytohelprefugeesintegrateintotheirnewcommunities.
