LANSING, Mich. (WBUP/WJMN) — Nominations are now open for the 2026 Michigan Military and Veterans Gala.
The event will be held on November 7 in Detroit and will recognize people and organizations serving serving Michigan’s Military and Veteran Community.
Award categories include:
Veteran Friendly Volunteer of the Year
Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) Employee of the Year
Michigan U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Employee of the Year
Veteran Service Provider of the Year

Gala tickets are $50 and can be purchased at the 2026 Gala registration website.
