Michigan gym raising $30K for children’s winter gear, holiday gifts

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – A West Michigan business wants to raise $30,000 to support more than 150 children across the Byron Center and Kentwood school districts.

One in eight children in West Michigan lives in poverty, leaving many without essentials or gifts as winter and the holiday season approach, according to the news release.
