GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Say goodbye to the rain and hello to the awesome events coming to West Michigan this weekend.
Here is a look at what you can do the weekend of April 17:
Uptown GR Earth Day Clean-Up
Join Uptown Grand Rapids in helping give back to the community in the 6th annual Earth Day Clean-Up.
Volunteers are helping pick up litter and make a positive impact. All supplies will be available, so just come as you are. It’s taking place on Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Storm Team 8 Forecast
2-year Anniversary Party at Black Dog Books & Records
Black Dog Books & Records is celebrating two years in style with pizza, pastries and Faygo. The shop will also have thousands of new arrivals for folks to browse.
The event is Saturday starting at 9 a.m. and going until 7 p.m.

Run of the Mill 5K
You can race down to Holland, all for a good cause. Windmill Island Gardens is hosting its annual 5K race to support the ongoing maintenance of the property.
There are races suited for the entire family with a 0.2-mile route for children under 10 years old. The 5K starts at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday and the Mini Kids Run starts at 10:30 a.m.

Grand Raggidy Roller Derby Skate Party
Join the skaters at Grand Raggidy Roller Derby for a day of roller skating, face painting and food.
It’s all part of the Welcome to the Jungle Skate Party. The event is on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Barry-Roubaix
Get ready to see some tires hit the gravel. The Barry-Roubaix is making its return to Barry County for a classic-style road/off-road cycling race.
The longest route is one hundred miles. There are events all weekend long.

Muskegon YMCA Healthy Kids Day
The Muskegon YMCA is hosting the second annual Healthy Kids Day, happening at McGraft Park in Muskegon.
There will be activities, snacks and educational resources for the whole family to enjoy. The event is Friday night from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Pinball at the ‘Zoo
Join Pinball at the ‘Zoo for its 26th show. There will be pinball tournaments, a free play area and plenty of vendors to check out.
The show takes place Thursday through Saturday.

Spring Kazoopex Stamp Show
Stamp collectors get ready to buy, sell and trade at the Kalamazoo Stamp Show. This is the largest stamp show in Michigan so there will be plenty of items to check out, including highly collectable special cache envelopes of America’s 250th anniversary.
The event runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
