This county has Michigan’s fastest growth in personal income since Great Recession

By two different measures, Leelanau County has had the state’s fastest growth in personal income since 2010 and the Great Recession.

Leelanau’s median household income grew 76% between 2010 and 2024, from $56,527 to $99,422, according to the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey five-year average.
