McMorrow gets separation in latest poll for Michigan’s open U.S. Senate seat

LANSING,Mich.(WLNS)—Althoughmanylikelyvotersarestillundecided,anewpollfromEmersonCollegeand6NewsshowsstateSen.MalloryMcMorrowofRoyalOakgettingsomeseparationintheDemocraticprimaryforMichigan’sopenU.S.Senateseat. Thesurveyof491likelyDemocraticprimaryvotersfoundthat22%arebackingMcMorrow,withU.S.Rep.HaleyStevensofBirminghamandformerWayneCountyhealthofficialAbdulEl-Sayedtrailingat16.5%and15.9%,respectively.38%ofthosepolled,however,areundecided,meaningtheprimaryremainswideopen.Thepoll’smarginoferroris4.4percentagepoints.
