Arctic air brings lake effect snow, dangerous wind chills to Michigan

Our last, brief warm-up for awhile will happen today, with some areas of Michigan seeing daytime highs top 40 degrees, and rain in the forecast.

We are going to wave good-bye to those mild temperatures, though. Snow is back in the forecast for some parts of Michigan by Tuesday night, and by Wednesday, the entire state will be heading back into a deep-freeze pattern that is expected to last for several days.
