Death of man in ICE detention facility in Michigan under investigation

A56-year-oldmanhasdiedinfederalcustodyattheNorthLakeProcessingCenterinnorthernMichigan,accordingtotwocongressionalsourcesinMichigan. U.S.Immigration&CustomsEnforcementofficialsnotifiedtheSenateHomelandSecurityCommitteeofthedeaththisweek,andtheagencyisinvestigating,thesourcessaid.  Thecircumstancesofthedeathhaven’tbeenreleased,andICEdidnotrespondtorequestsforinformationthisweek.
