70% of new Michigan road revenue is not guaranteed, report says

Michigan lawmakers have touted their new road funding plan as injecting between $1 billion and $1.8 billion in additional revenue into the state’s road system annually.
However, much of that funding may not be guaranteed, according to an analysis published Thursday, Dec. 4, by the Citizens Research Council of Michigan (CRCM), a Livonia-based research group.
