Prizes, food, DJs at mid-Michigan buck poles kick off 2025 firearm deer season

An unofficial Michigan holiday is taking place this weekend and there are several events taking place to mark the occasion.

Regular firearm deer hunting season begins on Saturday, Nov. 15 and runs Nov. 30 across the state.
