Meijer faces backlash over arrest of autistic employee for food theft

Michigan retail giant Meijer is embroiled in controversy over the arrest of a special-needs employee at an Ohio store.

Police bodycam footage recently circulated on social media showed an officer called to the Meijer store in Seven Hills, Ohio, where 19-year-old James Denison, a deli worker with autism, had been accused of stealing food items totaling $110 over a three-month period.
