Bill to criminalize masked ICE officers is ‘dead on arrival,’ Michigan House speaker says

Legislation that would criminalize law enforcement officers who conceal their face or identity while on the job is “dead on arrival,” according to Michigan House leadership.

“The Michigan House will never pass this attack on law enforcement,” said House Speaker Matt Hall, R-Richland Township. “The people want these dangerous criminal aliens off our street, and we are doing everything we can to partner with the Trump administration and put an end to illegal immigration.
