One of Lake Michigan’s most well-known lighthouses is getting a webcam

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP, MI – One of the most well-known lighthouses on the shores of Lake Michigan will soon have a webcam offering panoramic views for everyone, anytime.

Rather than hiking 1.8 miles and then climbing 130 steps to the top of Big Sable Point Lighthouse, those craving a spectacular view of the big lake will soon be able to go online. The webcam goes live on Tuesday, July 1.
