The Ford Fireworks will light up the skyline for the 67th year and Tony Michaels, CEO of the Parade Company — the nonprofit responsible for the show ― says this year will be the best show yet.
Michaels says every year the company aims to make the show bigger and better. He says there are more fireworks crammed into the 24-minute time slot than ever before.
“The city of Detroit will light up like it’s daytime,” he said.
The Parade Company plans each firework show a year in advance ― working with pyrotechnicians, sponsors, and the city of Detroit to craft an unforgettable experience.
