McKenzieJohnson,astudent-athleteatGramblingStateUniversityfrom2015-2019andaformermemberofthewomen’ssoftballteam,spokeduringanewsconferenceonedayafterjoining40otherpeopleinacivillawsuitallegingtheirprivateinformationwasaccessedwithoutauthorizationbyWeiss. Theamendedlawsuithasgrowntorepresent42plaintiffs—includingJohnson,thefirstwomantosueusingherrealname—andmarksamajorexpansionofthenumberofvictimswhoaresuingtheUniversityofMichigan;itsBoardofRegents;andKefferDevelopmentServices,LCC,theschool’sPennsylvania-baseddatasystemvendor. Johnsonsaidshewasnotifiedlatelastyearthathere
