Detroit Pistons know they need to get back to defense after late-season skid

It’s been a banner week for the Detroit Pistons, who locked up a top-six playoff seed for the first time in 17 years on Friday.
At 43-36 overall, they’ve also clinched their second winning record since 2008-09. With three games left, there are no remaining tangible goals outside of catching the Milwaukee Bucks for the fifth seed.
But some frustration lingered for the Pistons on Monday, after giving up an 18-point lead in a 127-117 home loss to the Sacramento Kings. It was the Pistons’ fourth loss in five games — far from a momentum boost with the postseason around the corner on April 19.
