‘I’m afraid to lose my job’: Trump cuts disturbing University of Michigan leaders, faculty

ANN ARBOR, MI – Kirsten Herold never thought she would say this, but she’s worried about her future at the University of Michigan.

The lecturer in School Public Health spends her days helping students and leads the Lecturers’ Employee Organization. She has spent 30 years with the university, but recent threats to federal funding are making her wonder if her time is almost over.
