Michiganranksamongthebottom10statesinalmosteverymeaningfulmetric,andthedamagecausedtoourchildren’seducationwilltakeyearstoovercome.

Avastmajorityofstudents—63%offourthgradersand76%ofeighthgraders—arenotproficientinmath,andnearly30%ofstudentsarechronicallyabsent.
