Amazing Northern Lights display reaches down to Florida. Tonight’s aurora could dance even brighter

Geomagnetic storm conditions ramped up overnight and into the wee hours of this morning, producing a Northern Lights display that stretched so far south over the United States that colors were seen dancing in the sky as far down as Texas and Florida.

And tonight’s aurora show could be even more intense.
