As fall brings cooler days to Michigan, Michiganders may be looking back at summer remembering how it felt like 100 degrees just days ago. But Michigan never actually reached 100 degrees this summer.
Regions across the state did see temperatures up to the mid-90s this summer — and a lot of humidity that made it feel even worse, but no triple-digit weather, local National Weather Service offices reported.
Much of the peak heat came in late June, in the early part of summer, according to the weather agency.

How hot did it get in southeast Michigan?
The NWS office in White Lake recorded the following hottest temperatures at its climate sites and local areas for summer 2025:
Ann Arbor Municipal Airport: 95 degrees, July 24 (new record)

Detroit: 95 degrees on June 23 (new record), June 24 and July 24
