This Day in Michigan History: Fans set record at Michigan Stadium for soccer game

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WILX) -On August 2, 2014 more than 109 thousand fans packed Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor to watch Manchester United take on Real Madrid.
It was the largest crowd ever to watch a soccer game in the United States.
Manchester United would go on to beat Real Madrid 3 to 1.
