The Motorama Moviefest aims to bring together cool cars and cool car movies in Detroit

“Le Mans,” “American Graffiti,” “Two-Lane Blacktop” and “Used Cars” will all be shown at the Motorama Moviefest.The Senate Theater, site of the event, is one of the few remaining movie houses from the 1920s in the Motor City.Cool cars. Cool car films. That sounds like a winning combination for the Motorama Moviefest, an event happening Saturday, June 28, at Detroit’s Senate Theater.
At this “festival of movies and motorcars,” as it’s subtitled, visitors can spend the afternoon and evening going back and forth between an outdoor car show in the Senate Theater’s parking lot and indoor screenings of four full-length movies (plus one silent short subject). Tickets are $10 for general admission
