UMich announces cuts to all DEI programs

The University of Michigan announced cuts to campus-wide diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives Thursday, effective immediately. The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and the Office for Health Equity and Inclusion will close, shifting student services to other offices, the DEI 2.0 Strategic plan will be discontinued and all units will evaluate their web presence to reflect the current status of DEI programs in order to comply with President Donald Trump’s executive orders.
